Through generous donations by people like you, Dani’s Foundation has become a force in funding research for pediatric cancers, including Ewing’s Sarcoma. Donations are the lifeblood of the organization, helping continue efforts to support and identify promising research projects around the world.
From 1999 through 2006, $136,000 was donated in Dani’s name to various entities:
2006 -- Donations included funding of new DVD players for all rooms in the oncology department ($2,500), $5,000 to Ewing’s Sarcoma research at Georgetown University, $1,000 to the Marchello Fund, and a scholarship for young cancer survivors. Five thousand dollars was also donated to the teen clinic at TCH Denver.
2005 – TCH Denver received $5,000 for the teen clinic, $1,000 was donated to The Marchello Fund, and $5,000 to Ewing’s Sarcoma research at Georgetown University.
2004 - Dr. Larry Wiese at Therapherisis, Inc. received $10,000 for research into new treatment for cancer.
2003 - $5,000 was donated to the teen clinic at TCH Denver, $5,000 to Ewing's Sarcoma research at Georgetown University, and $2,000 to The Marchello Fund.
2002 – Dani’s Foundation gave $5,000 to Ewing’s Sarcoma research at Georgetown University, $5,000 to Dr. Albano at TCH Denver , and $1,000 to The Marchello Fund.
2001 – Dani’s Foundation gave $20,000 to a Ewing’s Sarcoma research project at Georgetown University, $10,000 to the new teen clinic at TCH Denver, $5,000 to Dr. Edythe Albano’s research at TCH Denver, and $1,000 to The Marchello Fund, a scholarship fund for young cancer survivors.
2000 – Dani’s Foundation donated $18,000 to TCH Denver Cancer Center for research.
1999 – Dani’s memorial fund at The Children’s Hospital (TCH) in Denver received approximately $30,000, which was used to fund two Dani’s Dine In Kiosks™. Dani’s kiosks help families and staff order food from nearby restaurants while they are in the hospital.
